Mobile phones barred in Tripura schools
AGARTALA: The Tripura government has banned the use of mobile phones in schools for hampering academic “environment and concentration” of students.
Director of School Education, H L Chakraborty today said a circular banning the use of cell phones in the schools was issued yesterday.
Teachers have also been barred from using cell phones in the educational institutions of the state, he said.
The use of the mobile phones among students and teachers has become frequent in the urban areas which hampers academic environment and attention of students in the classes, he added.
