Governor of Tripura visiting Nagaland

AGARTALA: Tripura Governor Padmashree Dr Dayandeo Yashwantrao Patil, along with his family, is on a three-day visit to Nagaland.

Official sources here today said Dr Patil, along with his wife, daughter and son-in-law, is on an unofficial visit to Nagaland and arrived at Dimapur on Saturday and attended a function at Diphu in Karbi Anglong district of Assam, bordering Nagaland’s Dimapur, on Sunday morning.

Nagaland University announces BA 2010 Results

Nagaland University has published provisional results of BA 2nd Year Honours and General exams held February 2010 on their official website. Honours (Regular) Total students appeared for the exam is 1,346 and Total students passed is 1,033 and the percentage pass is 79.05%. Nagaland to host Bamboo festival

KOHIMA: Nagaland will host World Bamboo Day on September 18 under the aegis of the World Bamboo Organisation on the theme Bamboo for Livelihood and Community Development.

The Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency will also host a three-day Northeast international bamboo festival from September 16 to 18 at Naga heritage village Kisama, nearly 15km from Kohima.
