Mizo govt deports 162 Myanmarese nationals
AIZAWL: Mizoram police arrested 367 Myanmarese nationals for breaking law and 162 of them have been deported to Myanmar since December 11, 2008, officials said here today.

Ex-Mizoram police chief, colleague held for funds misuse
AIZAWL: A former director general of Mizoram police and his colleague were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on charges of misappropriation of funds meant for modernisation of the state police, officials said here Wednesday.
