AIZAWL: Mizoram chief minister Lalthanhawla today divided 32 portfolios between two of his cabinet colleagues, R. Lalzirliana and H. Liansailova, who were sworn in with him yesterday.

The chief minister retained 12 departments, including key ones like finance, public works, power and electricity, sports and youth services, urban development and poverty alleviation, food and civil supplies, health and family welfare and higher and technical education departments.

AIZAWL: Mizoram Governor Lt. General (retd) M M Khera has summoned the fist session of the sixth state assembly on Tuesday when newly-elected legislators will be sworn in by protem speaker J.H. Rothuama of the Congress. Rothuama was today sworn-in by Khera at Raj Bhavan on Friday.
